Hey there! I am full-time choral conductor, acapella coach & voice teacher with over 10 years of experience in teaching music.

My philosophy of creating safe spaces for singers to learn, explore & challenge their musical growth communally has led me towards the creation of The Singing Haven - where you can focus on your vocal technical confidence & belong in an authentic community.

I believe in the transformational power of singing & making music with others, and encourage singing students to feel comfortable in their own voice. Having ourselves grow vocally with others helps us experience a positive shift in brain chemistry and self-perception.

I conduct 4 school choirs across Singapore among Pri & Sec levels, coach an acapella community from the National University of Singapore, lead an acapella group & run my own private singing studio.

As vibrant as my life may seem now, my musical journey may not be what you may expect of a full-time, classically-trained voice professional. No music lessons from age 4, nor singing a lot at home from a young age!

My background in music started from a journey of self-exploration - starting with the guitar as my first instrument, I self-taught myself for years as I did not want to strain my parents financially with music lessons.

I went through very much growing up - in those times, music often reminded me of the things I wanted to stay alive for. I know many of us relate to that human feeling of being saved by a song, or the simple desire to want to sing, to feel beauty, to create.

I was blessed to meet the educators in my life, who accepted me with open heart, touched me with their music & values, and provided a safe space for me to explore my voice, feel valued in a community, and find a place where I could belong.

Now, my hope is that The Singing Haven will be such a place for you too.
